Men and women have risked their lives (and many have perished) attempting to scale these heights. From earliest times, from ziggernauts to the Tower of Babel to the World Trade Center towers, men have built monuments, attempting to reach heights never before imagined. Our God - God Most High- El Elyon - is Sovereign above every principality, every power in heaven and on earth. What a comfort it is to know that He holds us in His hand. Sometimes when I am an airline passenger and we encounter turbulence at 33,000 feet, it is consoling to think that His hand holds the plane. There is No One like El Elyon. Father, give us holy boldness to act upon this moment in time, to share Your love with those who are empty. Give us courage outside of ourselves. Father, comfort the suffering. As we have the Comforter in us, Father, use us to share comfort with the lost. Oh, how they need El Elyon at this time. Let us be the ones to go from strength to strength sharing Your love with this empty hurting world, for such a time as this. in Yeshua's name, Amen |
